BEACH PARTY CELEBRATIONS

It was a grand A LA CARTE!

An environment beautifully created by our enthusiastic teachers was very appreciating.

Though the city was drenching since a week before the beach party, yet we successfully celebrated the event.

As the parents walked in with their children interestingly for the beach party, nice colorful cut outs of starfish, mermaids, octopus, jellyfish etc on the wall welcomed them.

Our BUBBLE & BALL ROOM excited the children as they happily played with the balls and enjoyed blowing bubbles.

The kids were then assisted by the teachers to style themselves with GARLANDS OF LEAVES & MARIGOLD FLOWERS to enhance their beach attire.

Next another surprise awaiting our little buddies was
SP
RINKLING SAND on their individual PHOTO FRAME.
Kids loved sprinkling sand on the glue creating different designs on their own to carry back home the sweet memories of their first BEACH PARTY.

The LEMONADE COUNTER quenched their thirst to energize them for the moves with beach party music.

The party concluded with electrifying DANCE movements by our fountainhead’iers along with their moms.
Last but not the least, our teachers, bagged the credit for carrying out the event. sucessfully, by cladding beautifully in floral, colorful swirly, curly dresses to match.

THE FESTIVE MONTHS

Its happening all again!!

Little Fountainhead celebrated the festive months of the year with pomp and zest.

To start up with, we celebrated the Friendship Day by tying bands to initiate the bond of friendship.

The Independence Day celebration & Rakshabandhan celebration recalled our memories of the school days to boost up along with the children.

Our school was all dipped in the color of nationality. The teachers marched with the tri-colored flag and talked to the little heroes in making, about our great country. They enthusiastically stood to the National anthem sung by the teachers and hummed ‘Hum Honge Kamyaab’ and ‘Nanha Munna Rahi Hoon’ with the teachers. The surrounding echoed with ‘Jai Hind, Jai Hind’ by young voices.

Rakshabandhan brought the feeling of bonding and togetherness. The brothers were greeted with aarti, tilak and tying the sacred thread by sisters and in return the sister was gifted with self made cards by loving brothers.

The celebrations in August were over after we enjoyed breaking the ‘MATKI’ tied on JANMASHTAMI.

Wow! The school looked colourful with BAL RADHAS and KANHAIYAAS to witness the breaking of ‘MATKI’ along with RAAS-GARBA with our ever enthusiastic teachers.

September brought the ‘GANPATI CELEBRATION’ for our little wonders. Ganpati’s favourite modaks savoured the taste buds of our loved ones and we all welcomed Ganesha by offering flowers and bid him farewell on the Tenth day.

OUR SPECIAL GUESTS

Ahoy!! What an adventurous month the little learners of our school had!

Along with the drizzling of the rain, and despite the cough & cold, all of us had an interesting experience.

Any guesses?

Well! There can be many!

But let us all share this one!

“PETS” as we call them, were our guests for the whole month of August!

We had the cat with her kitten, the dog, the rabbit, the tortoise, the fish and also the parrot as our visitors.

Our little Einsteins enjoyed enormously and also came up with questions!

(A sign of opening doors to learning)

With the children even our teachers learnt things to add to their knowledge.

Mother cat with her baby kitten was the first to arrive. Some of the children cuddled the cat and the kitten encouraging the others to try too. The surprising element was about the Mother Toddler kids (6 months to 1.6 months) as they adventured to hold the tiny kitten in their tiny hands.

Our faithful friend the dog entertained the children with his wagging tail and his not so scary bark. The children imitated him and did not need to know that ‘a dog barks’. Mr. Dog also had his food –the bone and the kids said it aloud, ‘The dog eats bone.’

The Bunny rabbit hopped its way in the school feeding on the lettuce leaves offered by the children.

Our next guest was the slow but steady tortoise! We all called him Tuk-Tuk tortoise and sang the rhyme:

Mein toh tuk tuk tortoise hoon

Mein toh dheere dheere chalta hoon...

Our children even after visiting the fish aquarium on a field trip were very delighted to have the fish in a fish bowl in the school.

Our kids turned out to be perfect hosts by talking continuously to the otherwise talkative parrot, as it was happily feasting on the guava and the red and green chillies offered by the children.

We were lucky enough to have all these experiences due to the sincere and voluntary efforts made by the "PRAYAS ENVIRONMENTAL TEAM" - a Surat based NGO that works towards the conservation and protection of environment and nature.

How many of us would have had such a thrilling fun filing childhood!

We surely are as happy as our children to have such an on hand experience.

Our children are now as close to these pets as to human relation.

We are proud to have our children build a bond of friendly co existence with these PETS but more likely to be called FRIENDS.
